The one deliberate exception: when you ask Iris for a live web answer, the search query leaves our servers to be searched — and nothing else does.

Voice is never accepted alone; it is one factor of several, with password sign-in always available as fallback. The identity layer is built and security-reviewed, and switches on with launch.
